The HSC Scholarship and Welfare committee provides fundraising and other support for military families to supplement community activities, athletics, and educational programs.

You may contact Kimberly Ball if you would like additional information. The Hunter Spouses Club is proud to announce Welfare Donations totaling $4,000 have been awarded to the following organizations:

    • Hunter Chapel Operation Helping Hand
    • Hunter Chapel Youth Ministries

To donate to our monthly projects, please bring items to the standing luncheon or drop them off at the HSC Collection Container inside the Hunter Club before the second Tuesday of each month. Thank you.

Monthly Welfare Projects 2008-09


September - Second Harvest Food Bank • Can goods, non-perishable items

October - HAAF Boys & Girls Scouts • Art and craft supplies, Gift Cards

November - Marine Toys for Tots • New, unwrapped toys for children of any age

December - Christian City Mission • Socks, t-shirts, slippers

January - American Red Cross • Donations to buy American flags

February - Savannah Rape Crisis Center • New women’s clothing in calm or dark colors, (sweats) socks, slippers, and toiletries

March - Humane Society Savannah-Chatham County • Dog or Cat food, kitty litter, and pets toys

April - Pulaski Elementary CRCT School Testing • Pencils and juice boxes

May - Wounded Warriors

Please bring these items to the luncheon or drop them off at the HSC Collection Container inside the ACS Building before the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
